This question gets to one of the core principles of marketing: your value proposition.

It’s how you help people understand what your work has to offer: your process, point of view, style, and more.

Value isn’t random.

We know mass-produced objects and handcrafted ones aren’t priced the same for lots of reasons.

The same is true for art.

Materials, skill, originality, experience, process, and what makes something one of a kind all shape value.

This week, let’s help people see the value behind our work.

We know there's more to it: skill, experience, process, materials, decision-making, and meaning.

A VALUE PROPOSITION is simply what helps people understand why your work is worth what it is.
