⭐Now on display at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre: America 250 ⭐

Artists were asked to submit one original work of art that answers the question, "What does America mean to me?"

Featured today are the works of Alison Charchar, Lauren McAree, Madeleine Selman, Violet Kimley, and Bill Williams.

You can view all of the art in person inside our Arts Annex through Friday, July 17 during our regular business hours Monday-Friday 9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm. Artwork is available for purchase directly through the artists.

Join us for America's Sweethearts on Wednesday, July 1, at 7:30 p.m.

Celebrate the United States of America’s 250th birthday with America’s Sweethearts as they bring timeless music to the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre stage.

This charming vintage vocal trio delivers polished three-part harmonies, stylish period costumes, and a love for the songs that helped define a nation. Featuring swing, jazz, and Broadway favorites, their performance honors American musical heritage with warmth, energy, and heart.

Audiences of all ages will enjoy this nostalgic and uplifting tribute to the sounds that shaped generations

Tickets are $35 for reserved seating.

Through a captivating one-man performance, Mike Wiley embodies multiple voices, taking audiences on an emotional journey through Galloway’s fight for freedom, equality, and citizenship.

Check out these food inspiration photos for Kill the Music-Interactive Mystery Dinner by It’s A Mystery and supported by United Arts Wake County, on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 11 a.m. or 8 p.m.

While this isn’t a full meal event, guests will enjoy a generous spread of delicious bites while they play detective. Each table will have its own shared tray of treats to enjoy throughout the show:

☕ 11 a.m. Show: Brunch pastries, fresh fruit, and coffee

🍰 8 p.m. Show: Decadent desserts and coffee

🍷 A cash bar featuring beer, wine, and bubbly will be available at both performances.

As you enjoy your treats, you’ll help solve a whodunit centered around the reunion concert of a one-hit wonder girl group. Just when excitement is high and a new song is about to debut, something sinister may strike. Could one of the band members be silenced for good?
