We are thrilled to announce that Friends for Life has received a generous $7,000 grant from Do it Best to support our Children & Youth Program! A huge THANK YOU to Brent Watts and the local Do It Best team for this incredible investment in the families we serve.
Our Children & Youth Program works with families who have children and youth with special healthcare needs, connecting them to vital resources through state and local programs and support networks in their own communities. From helping cover co-pays for behavior support services and medical supplies to funding summer camps and respite care, this program makes a real difference in these families' daily lives. We also empower families through person-centered planning, because we believe families know best what they need and how to meet those needs.
This generous grant from Do It Best will help us continue serving families across McLennan, Bell, Coryell, Hill, Falls, and surrounding counties.
To learn more about our Children & Youth Program or any of our services, visit friendsforlife.org or call us at 254-772-7600.

Volunteer Drivers Needed β Help Our Clients Get to Medical Appointments!
At Friends for Life, our mission is to help clients live independently for as long as possible. One of the biggest challenges they face? Getting to medical appointments when they can no longer drive themselves.
That's why we coordinate volunteer drivers to provide this much-needed transportation β and right now, we need MORE volunteers to meet the growing demand.
You don't have to commit to a huge schedule. Even one ride a month can make a real impact in someone's life. A simple trip to a doctor's appointment can mean the difference between staying healthy and independent or falling behind on critical care.
Here's how you can help:
π New volunteers: Sign up today at https://volunteer.bloomerang.co/volunteer/ #/join-party?k=qhs026d2xrjxct
π Current volunteers looking to take on more rides: Contact Kay at 254-772-7600 x110 or [email protected]
Your time behind the wheel changes lives. Will you help keep our neighbors independent and connected to the care they need? Share this post to help spread the word!
