Very much looking forward to our minimalism show next Wednesday, November 19 at 7:30pm in Jones Concert Hall at - we’ll be presenting a fantastic collection of works by Reich, Glass, Elfman, and Westlake. It’ll be free and fabulous!!
Beautifully performed final BM recital last night by and members of the Baylor Percussion Studio. Lovely the rep choices and collaborative approach to Connor’s last undergraduate recital. Bravo!!!

For those on campus during Baylor’s study day tomorrow (Thursday, May 8 — the Baylor Percussion Group will present a short, lunchtime concert in the garden area adjacent to starting promptly at noon. Music by .drums Snowden and Reich — we’d love to see you there for this fun, casual set. Bring a lunch and a friend!!

Tonight’s concert is completely student programmed and driven from beginning to end. So proud of the work they’ve done to put so much great music together over the past few months. Enjoy works by .drums and a fantastic new collection of music by current BU perc !!

The Baylor School of Music Percussion Studio is welcoming graduate applicants (MM) for fall 2025. Applications and pre screening videos are due Dec 1. We have 1) an official GA opening geared towards working with the drumline and marching/athletic bands, 2) the possibility of a GA with the Wayne Fisher Jazz Program (drum set), and 3) other possible graduate funding opportunities for highly qualified applicants.
