Talk More Meals

I have these ingredients in the house every single minute of every day, so I can always whip up a homemade sushi or crispy salmon bites.

Homemade Sushi:
1 nori sheet
1/4 lb broiled salmon
1/4 pack frozen Innovasian sticky rice - cooked
1/8 block of cream cheese *optiinal
1 cucumber
1 green onion
1 jalapeño
5 cilantro leaves
Spread rice on seaweed sheet, layer ingredients, roll up & slice!

*for my favorite ever sauce-
3 Tbs gf soy sauce
3 Tbs water
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 tsp sesame oil
1/8 tsp sesame seeds

Salmon Bites:
Sub nori sheet for 6 rice paper sheets, softened in warm water. Divide Iingredients above into 6 parts and roll up in each rice paper. Sear each side in hot pan on med. heat until crispy. Serve hot off the skillet with sauce.

Talk More Meals will be closing its doors at the end of July.

6 years ago I was running Talk More Tech Less] , a digital wellness organization, while cooking for friends and family. In January 2017 I made the cooking official and opened a little food prep company allowing people to gather around their table, eating healthy food with talking points on the label to encourage tech-free meals for deeper connection.

Our kitchen has loved feeding the Waco and Central Texas community. Though we are sad to not serve ready-made meals any longer, I will continue to share delicious recipes and encourage connection around the table, as well as continue in my digital wellness and online safety training for our community with Talk More Tech Less]

As many of you know, since 2020 small businesses have been hit hard and our kitchen was no exception. I’m a big supporter of small businesses, as are many of you. Here are some wonderful local restaurants and food companies that serve options for you.
