2025 really said, “New music? Absolutely… just complete this side quest of moving, renovating, and rebuilding your entire studio first” 😂

After releasing my first single of the year, I basically disappeared 👻

I took a step back from posting frequently on socials, from saying yes to every gig, and from spending much time in the studio. I kept my Saturday DJ residency at Highland Lounge to stay connected to music, but turned down new gigs so I wouldn’t overload my plate 😅

Even though it felt like I was drifting from music, I knew it was only temporary, and for good reasons 👀

Because in the middle of all that, we found and bought the perfect new home 🏡🥲

Between getting our old place rental-ready, hunting for the right home, tackling home improvements, and taking down my old studio (still working to put it fully back together in the new house 😬), releasing more music turned into a “yeah, maybe next week” situation for like… 40 weeks 🙃

But SOMEHOW, with little to no social media or promo, and only ONE release all year…y’all still went crazy! 😱

Compared to last year:
• 91% more listeners
• 31% more followers
• 24% more streams
• 2% more playlist adds
…even with just one release! 😳

And 1,400+ total playlist adds still blows my mind! 🤯

We’ve been too busy soaking in all the birthday fun to post, but couldn’t let this milestone pass without celebrating our little boy. 🎁🥹

It’s been amazing getting a whole year of snuggles, giggles, & watching you grow more handsome each & every month (especially with a haircut 😜).

2024 was a whirlwind. In February, I became a parent, and the same week, I returned to the corporate grind. Somehow, in the chaos, I still managed to release one song—First Tattoo.

Growing up, I must admit I always hated Father’s Day. It was hard watching everyone else celebrate their dads when I never had someone to call “dad.” I promised myself that one day, I would have kids and be the dad I wished I had.

I’m more determined than ever to keep that promise. I’ll never stop striving to be the best dad I can be.
