I finished a bunch of pearl-snap shirts and hung them outside hoping the heat and humidity would iron them for me…

Didn’t work. 😉

These (and more!) will be ironed and hanging in my boutique inside Sironia Waco tomorrow!

I had to clean the mad-lab because I have sew many things going at once (aka: I’m messy when I get on a roll.) and I stumbled on my stash of conchos I forgot I had…

Sew then that led to cowhide, which led to a leather belt - and then: fringe. Because fringe is ALWAYS necessary. 😉

Coming soon.

Hey there, it’s been a while!

I figure: what better way to kick start my social media again than by showing you my Forget-Me-Nots!

They were my Grandmother’s (Maud Elizabeth) favorite flower, and these tiny babies survived ‘20 AND the great Texas Freeze - and I didn’t even know until this evening!

Fun, right?

I had big Christmas plans for my window box at Sironia Waco, but then simple just seemed better... 😁

It drops below 60 in Texas, and I start breaking out the snowsuit, boots and thermals... then I start watching for a blizzard. And to think I think I’d love to live in Alaska. LOL!!!

These ornaments (or package tie-on!) are sew fun to make! Broken crayons, a silicone mold - in the oven for 15 minutes at 275*! A fun “cold weather” activity with your kids or Grandkids!

There will be some falling in to my boutique inside Sironia Waco tomorrow, just in case I walked off with all of your broken crayons... 😁

Christmas is slowly starting to filter in to my boutique inside Sironia Waco! Candles, soaps, tea towels, random sparkly things, and pocketbooks, with more coming soon out of the mad-lab!

Do you have your tree up yet? House decorated? How have you been? 😁

A complete overhaul is happening in my boutique at Sironia Waco, but I’m pretty sure my “handbag hooks” are just moving to a new location...

Candle holders anyone? 🤣

Happy whatever day this is!!!

The past 2 days I’ve been pouring all of the fall candles for my boutique inside Sironia Waco, sew I’ve had the air conditioner cranked down on “freezing cold - pretends it’s sweater weather”.

Ralph Waldo Emerson has spent the past 2 days sleeping in a hoodie.

Pumpkin, apple, fresh autumn leaves... all the smells will be dropping this week!!!

Hey pumpkin!!!

These tea towels will be growing in my boutique space at Sironia Waco today!!! Are you ready for pumpkin season and sweater weather? I am for sure!!!

Happy first day of Fall ya’ll!!!

Hello! Can you believe we are in August already? And... are you like me and watching for what kind of WEIRDNESS is coming at us for this month?! This year is just a BIT much!!!

When the shutdown happened, I knew it would affect my business (obviously), but I wasn’t too worried about my “daily” because I make a really good pajama-clad hermit. Ahhhhh the benefits of working from home!

About a month in to isolation (also about the time I thought maybe I should try to grow things in my yard - turns out that’s not my thing.) my bonus brother who owns a temp agency needed a “temperature reader” for a big plant here in Waco. I thought “sure! I neeeeeed to get out of my house!!!”. Isn’t it funny how you hate to leave your house when things are normal, but you get super antsy when there isn’t anywhere to go?! The temp taking job was only supposed to be for a month or so - super easy - super random hours (at each shift change)... and here we are months in to it, still super random hours, and super easy! And just so you know, I haven’t worn my pajamas to work. Not even once.

Turns out - I LOVE my little “job”! I have been self-employed/working from home for sew long, I forgot how much I love people! I’m still making fabulous pocketbooks (THAT is happening at super random hours too!), and I’m still rolling with my boutique inside Sironia Waco, but I’m also having some crazy fun pointing a thermometer at people! I have met some AMAZING women and men that I will keep in my life forever, and I’m going to be sad when this temporary temp job ends! I seem to be walking around with a permanent smile on my face!

Who would have thought that the weirdest year in the history of my forever would bring such joy in to my life?!

All of this incredibly long post to tell you: I hope August doesn’t bring Dinosaurs back or who knows what - and I hope YOU have found some Joy in super random places through all of this crazy that’s been unleashed. I think of you everyday because YOU BRING ME JOY, and I sure do miss you.

Happy Sunday!!! (It is Sunday, isn’t it? 🤣)

Know why the chicken, dog, and cat all crossed the road together?

To get to Sironia Waco. 🤣 Tea towel section of my boutique space has been restocked!
