First half-marathon in the books! Happy to walk away with a 🥇1st place in the Baylor student division and 4th place overall.

Did not know how my body would respond to racing after almost a year out from being a collegiate athlete. In between studying for finals, prepping briefs, and Moot Court, managed to squeeze in a few runs and I am very happy with the result. The course was INSANELY hilly. I thought Texas was flat, but Waco surprised me with 8 miles of just going up and down hills, which absolutely destroyed my quads.
Already looking forward to what I can do in a flatter course and proper training. This will not be the last you will see of me 🫣.
