The Beginnings

32,000 years ago man began making drawings on the inside of cave walls; no one knows why. The handprints made on cave walls are said to be the oldest portrait of man. Art has been in us from the very beginnings of civilization. From the paintings of warriors and hunts in the dark remote corners of a cave, to the master works of the renaissance painted on chapel ceilings, we are defined by images. I’m sure you didn’t expect our company history to go back quite so far, but Ugg the cave man may very well have been the first graphic designer, no really. His paintings were not decorations for he and Mrs. Ugg’s home, they were sending a message (to who, we don’t really know), but we can still understand the hunt scenes he depicted. Our logo is his portrait and ours; it’s the thing we have in common. Art, is about sending messages and leaving our mark on the world. Our name Creative Man Studio is a nod to the creativity innate in mankind. We’ve come a long way from Ugg, but we still use the principles behind his art. We keep our message simple, easy to understand, and beautiful to look at. Let us help you put your handprint on today’s marketplace. The Now
