For Shannon Seale (BA ’03), Baylor provided more than an education—it helped shape a lifelong commitment to leadership and service. 💚
As a political science major, Shannon discovered a passion for teaching while developing the critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills that would guide her career. Outside the classroom, she served as Vice President of Recruitment for Alpha Delta Pi’s Zeta Chi chapter and participated in Baylor GOLD, experiences that deepened her love for Baylor and taught her how to build community, cast vision, and lead with purpose.
Those lessons followed her into a successful career in education. After years teaching social studies, including AP Government and AP U.S. History, Shannon now serves as principal of Odem Elementary School, where she leads with the same values she first developed at Baylor.
More than two decades after graduation, she remains deeply connected to the Baylor Family—cheering on the Bears, serving as marketing advisor for Baylor ADPi, and leading as President of the State of Texas Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association.
From the classroom to campus leadership and beyond, Baylor helped build a foundation that continues to shape her impact today.
Sic ’Em, Shannon! 🐻✨

For Greg Davis (BBA ’92), Baylor helped shape both how he sees the world and how he tells its stories. 💚
A proud fourth-generation Bear, Baylor gave him more than a business education. Through traditions like Sing, friendships in ATO, and classes like Ethics in Business, he built a foundation rooted in integrity, curiosity, and human connection — values that still guide his life and photography.
After leaving a corporate career in 2004, Greg picked up a camera and began traveling the world, capturing moments of humanity, resilience, and cultural connection. His work has been featured in more than 25 solo exhibitions and is represented in the National Geographic Image Collection.
That same sense of connection inspired El Espíritu del Oso, a hand-carved copal wood sculpture honoring four generations of Baylor Bears. Conceived by Greg and brought to life by Jacobo Ángeles Ojeda (with María Ángeles), the piece now resides at Art Center Waco — thanks to the support of his Baylor ATO brothers who helped make its permanent installation possible.
Back in Waco for the opening of Urban Stories—an exhibition featuring work he selected as juror—Greg shared what he seeks through his lens: soul. See the exhibition at Art Center Waco through June 27.
Sic 'Em, Greg! 🐻✨
