Celebrating Juneteenth and giving thanks for the gift of freedom, faith, and the beautiful diversity of God’s family.

“From one man He made all the nations.” Acts 17:26

Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the news of freedom finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, a powerful reminder that liberation is worth celebrating and that delayed justice still matters to God.

As followers of Jesus, we rejoice in the deeper freedom Christ brings, and we keep praying and working for a world where every person made in God’s image can flourish.

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
