Took a watercolor class yesterday with Kelly of It was just an intro, and we painted some leaves. I went home and pulled out all my old watercolor stuff and found a couple of sketches from 2009! The cabin, Homestead Basket Shop, is where I now work. 😊

I’m back in the chair repair business! My first project for 2024 – wicker repair. This chair will be sat in by the 4th generation in their family! It was a tough chair to work on, because it wasn’t made of rattan cane, it was all fiber a.k.a. paper. I used real cane to do the repair and replaced the braid on the side with purchased fiber braid. I primed it, and the customer will paint it with the matching yellow paint.
