What is the real reason why we as a nation continue to become more and more overweight?
Is it the sugars?
Is it the fats?
Is it the fast foods?
Is it the chemicals?
Or is it something else?
What do you think is causing the change?
We believe that is a combination these small variables together with two BIG things.
Do you often feel like there is not enough hours in the day for all of the stuff you need to get done?
Do you scarf down your food or eat while you have your attention on something like the TV or your phone or tablet?
Food has become something quick we get into our bodies so we end the feeling of hungar.
The food industry has made foods to be "craved" (Almost all foods that has been through a machine has been chemically modified to shut down the parts of your brain that tell you you are full and to crave the strong taste of salt and sweet).
So how can we reverse this cycle of feeling rushed, lacking in time, and disconnected from our food?
Instead of setting goals to "eat better". Set goal to be more connected to food and improve your relationship with food.
Slow down and spend more time with it.
Pay attention to all of your senses when you are eating!
Pay attedtion to your feelings that you experience as you eat.
Pay attention to how you feel (energetic, sluggish, etc) after you eat
