13 years gone by in the blink of an eye.

Our grown up grandaughters Kyla Rose (sales) and Mackenzie Raina (serious sharpening ) are taking over the Edgemaster/Nick Cutter brand. Here they are having a hair day with our little grandaughters.

It’s been 13 years now. Her daughter Mackenzie has been trained by Nick and is keeping up the family tradition of sharpening fine haircutting scissors.

Sharpeners Report expresses its condolences to Grand Master Sharpener Nick Cutter of Edgemaster USA , Vista, Calif., and Debra Ault and family on the death of Nick’s daughter, Tami (A.K.A.) “Nicki” Emerick, 38, who passed away from cancer on Aug. 30, 2012. Nicki is survived by her parents, her sister Shawndi, and two daughters, ages 16 and 14. Nicki formerly was an assistant instructor and judge for the National Shear Sharpening Guild (N.S.S.G.) after years of experienced gained from hanging around her dad’s sharpening shop as a young girl. She used to advocate that sharpening is “not just for the boys anymore.” I was lucky to know Nicki a short time having met her at the last NSSG Vegas event in 2011. What a wonderful person. She will be greatly missed.

A visit from my eldest grandson Jesse made my day! Grandaughter Kyla Rose showed him a good time at the fair and the beach. Come back soon Jesse!
