We are excited to announce our 6 ✨PAID✨internship positions! Sign up with the link in our bio, when you click on the interest forms there are descriptions of each other positions and the duties that are asked for each one! No experience required!! Mental Health Matters event at El Diamante High School engaged many students in art & wellness activities and information on mental health .🧠💓This youth-led event was held with the goal to spread awareness on mental health with a focus on building connections to community health resources and support systems . ✨🙌
students researched, developed and presented key findings to their peers that prioritize mental health. 📚
The evening was followed by a paint and plant activity which allowed students to design a flower pot and plant wildflower seeds to encourage connections and creative outlets to art, health and wellness.🎨🌻

Heyo! 🚨🫵🏻Do yall like in n out, making positive change in your community, or just like yapping with people???? If you said yes to any of those things, feel free to stop by to our listening session!! 🎧A “listening session” is an opportunity for people to talk about their ideas to improve health🙉! Our topic will be on 🧠mental health and substance use disorder stigma. 💥💥💥

All are welcomed, ages 14-19. Use this time to connect, get some community service hours, and use your voice to lead ways to improve health in your community.

Hello Visalia! The HEAL Project Youth Coalition interest form is officially open!  🎉
 
This Coalition is designed for Visalia teens between the age of (14-19)  who are interested in leading, learning, creating and making impact in their community!  🏘️
 
Each role will have unique opportunities for you to elevate your voice, lived experiences and skills! As a Coalition member you and your peers can work together to increase mental health and substance use disorder awareness.📢💕
 
Not only will you connect with your community, you will get the chance to grow your resume, leadership and communication skills. Interns will also receive a stipend! Scan the QR code or DM us if you are interested in applying!

Hey! With Holiday szn right around the corner, we wanted to give all of participants one last gift.🎁 Holidays can bring up many emotions, feelings, and sometimes challenges. And that’s okay! With that, we will be providing mental health totes filled with local resources, ☕️a sweet treat (starbies gift card), a journaling 🗒️📓🖊️ kit for any young person that attended a talking circle or art and wellness event this year as a thank you and so that you can continue your ongoing mental health journey. For youth ages 12-19! Mental health 🧠 can be sustained with the right coping skills, resources, community, compassion and care. Estamos emocionados de celebrar todo el arduo trabajo y los logros de nuestros líderes juveniles este año. Nuestros jóvenes lideran la participación familiar y las actividades comunitarias, como colectas de alimentos, reuniones de grupos de trabajo, círculos de conversación y actividades de arte y bienestar en la comunidad. Este trabajo es posible gracias a nuestros dedicados líderes juveniles, voluntarios y nuestros socios comunitarios que apoyan la misión del Proyecto HEAL. A medida que el año llega a su fin, reflexionamos con gratitud y aprecio. ¡Esperamos llevar la misma energía y defensa en 2026!
 

We are thrilled to celebrate all the hardwork and achievements of our youth leaders this year. Our youth lead family engagment and community activities such as food drives, workgroup meetings, talking circles and art and wellness activies in the community.
This work is possible because of our dedicated youth leaders, volunteers and our community partners who uplift the mission of the HEAL Project. As the year comes to an end, we reflect with gratitude and appreciation. We look forward to bringing the same energy and advocacy in 2026!
 

Come join us for our Dia de los Mu***os Family Art & Wellness night! We’ll celebrate life, love, and the people we remember. Enjoy music, dancing, art, and yummy treats like pan dulce and champurrado. There will be fun workshops and a family circle to share memories together. Everyone is welcome!
