KKM finale update. Sometimes dnf’s can be a BLESSING.
Started p3, took the lead around lap 15, throttle hung about 65% had fun trading sliders with Purdue!
Throttle kept getting worse, I would say it was hung about 75% with 7 laps to go, I was having to push the brake as hard as I could thro the corner at this point I had almost a half lap lead, going into 1&2 the same lap the yellow came out, I felt the brake rod break, & spun around ripping my seat belt off & brake lines out & wrapping itself around the rear end, throttle was stuck I had no brakes, so I clutched it & pulled in the infield! Yes I’m disappointed that we didn’t win, but honestly it was a huge blessing that the yellow came out when it did!!! if not I would of went into the next corner with the throttle hung, no brakes & I would not of known my seat belt was ripped off. I strongly believe God was watching over me! & maybe someone else #5.
Racing is a crazy sport of up & downs, but I’m beyond grateful for the Lord looking after me! .
