We Lost More Than an Election — Here’s What Comes Next

We lost all three statewide races. We lost 13 seats. No Republican won outside deep-red districts.

This election wasn’t about who the better candidate was — it was about national trends that local campaigns couldn’t overcome.

So, what happens now?
When the General Assembly convenes in January, Democrats will have full control. Here’s what we can expect:
• Gun Control: Restrictions on semi-automatic rifles, bans on magazines holding more than 10 rounds, and limits on concealed carry reciprocity with other states.
• Right-to-Work: Expect attempts to abolish Virginia’s right-to-work protections, paving the way for mandatory union membership and higher local taxes through collective bargaining mandates.
• Taxes: New taxes on services like dry cleaning, handyman repairs, and digital services.
• Energy Costs: Re-entry into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), meaning higher power bills for Virginia families.
• Transportation: Re-adoption of California’s vehicle standards — by 2035, only electric cars can be sold new in Virginia.
• Elections: A new redistricting amendment that will let Democrats redraw congressional lines — creating 10 blue districts and just one red.
• Education & Culture: Full reinstatement of transgender bathroom and sports policies in public schools.
• Immigration: Virginia will move toward sanctuary-state status by reversing cooperation with ICE.
• Criminal Justice: Passage of “Second Look” laws allowing violent felons serving life sentences to seek release after 15 years.

Democrats will treat last night’s results as a mandate to advance this entire agenda — and much more.

The 2025 election is over. While we wait for results - I want to thank every volunteer, every one who donated and supported my campaign.

I am a very lucky man and I will never forget this experience.

Do you remember in 2020 when Democrats took full control of the General Assembly? They did some big things. Major gun control bills that caused 10's of thousands of Virginians to march at the Capitol. They forever changed voting with mail in ballots, unattended drop boxes, and this stupid 45 day early voting rule.
They passed a law that said police can't pull over someone with their headlights on (even Northam had to correct that - because it was insane), they tied our emissions standards to California and now our law says that every new motor vehicle sold in 2035 has to be electric/hybrid and created a new green scam that has spiked Virginia energy prices.

They never said any of that when they ran.. What will they in January if they get full control? Well, we know they want to gut right to work, they want to make certain weapons illegal to own, they want to redistrict congressional maps to make Virginia a 10-1 state favoring Democrats. They want to solidify Virginia into east California. Democrats called parents Domestic Terrorists who were protesting masks in schools and standing against mandatory covid vaccines for children. Churches were closed and the ABC store stayed open. Pastors were arrested for holding church, people lost their jobs who didn't take the Covid vaccine, Government picked winners and losers based on the policies of Democrat priorities. Democrats celebrated DEI in discriminating against Asian children being admitted in public education. Boys competing in girls sports.. the list goes on.

Now, tomorrow, probably 40% of Republicans WONT vote ensuring Democrats win everything.

For the love of God.. if you are a conservative, do not let Democrats have full control of government. Make a plan to vote from 6am-7pm. Balance government is better. One side monopoly breeds bad policy - and tomorrow, when the dust settles and Virginia will decide the next phase of government - ask yourself, what did you do?

All I am asking you to do is vote in a way that government is balanced. So many conservatives "only vote in the big elections" - well tomorrow is more important to Virginia than anything else. Please vote.
