CAPT Steve Thomas wrapped up his tour at serving as the Deputy Commander and ultimately closing up the tour as the Wing Commander. I had the pleasure of working with him for about a year and he is hands down one of the best leaders I have worked for! Constantanly walking around and interacting with his sailors and genuinely caring about them. Fair Winds and Following Seas!!

Made Leyanne her yearly desk tags for her classroom. Also made up some bathroom hall passes for the kids to use. I’m trying to convince Leyanne to make them into necklaces with a fake gold chain!

The weather is getting nicer and the random door knockers are out in full effect!!! I wanted to make something a bit more “to the point” but Leyanne said it had to be respectful. 🤪

We really got to make some wild stuff!! Yes, that is a barrel out of the Vulcan M61A2 rotary cannon mounted in an F-18!! The AO’s get all the fun toys!

Congratulations AOC Pagan on an awesome tour with VFA-211!

Barrel was powder coated in candy red and we handled all the mounting with the 3d printer and engraving on the OMTech 60w! Turned out killer, just like the Hornet!

Huge shoutout Michaela at SendCutSend for the assistance and back and forth emails helping to get this project complete! Not sponsored by Send Cut Send at all but the team they have and the products they help me make are amazing!! Going from a Solidworks sheet metal model to a finished riveted together project is always difficult but technology and proper tooling has made it point and shoot!

Knocked out a couple leadership gifts for 2 Circle Incorporated made out of aluminum and acrylic! A little beadrolling with the 36” beadroller for the border and as always, coming in clutch with the acrylic for all the tiny lettering and logo!
