Core 22 Design Build LLC

Excited to share our latest project focus! We had the pleasure of working with Latitude Climbing + Fitness again for their ground up construction of their newest location in Hampton, VA. The focus of the gym is rock wall climbing with adult and kid’s climbing areas. In addition, Latitude offers rope climbing, bouldering, yoga, fitness classes and physical therapy.

This new 19,500 SF building features two, 55’ high rectangular sections which slope to 45’ in opposing direction flanking the 40’ high center portion of the building. The entrance is emphasized by three gray aluminum canopies at two different heights supported by angled columns painted Latitude signature red. The 14,450 SF first floor consists of a fitness room, a physical therapy section with a therapy gym and 4 treatment rooms, a check-in/merchandise area, a 54 ft high area for belay climbing and bouldering area, a staff breakroom, Men’s and Women’s locker rooms with showers, and restrooms with a locker area. The 5,100 SF second floor mezzanine has an event room, additional restrooms, an office, and additional belay climbing and bouldering areas.

It was a pleasure working with the Owners on the recently completed renovation of 1564 Crossways Blvd., in Chesapeake for Virginia Pediatric Eye Center . VPEC provides comprehensive care for children's vision, and they also treat adult eye movement disorders.

It was great working with Ivy Rehab again on another design-build project in Virginia Beach. This 8,497 SF clinic in the Princess Anne area is unique in that it houses three clinics in one location – Ortho, PEDS and ABA.

Many, many thanks to Core 22’s Race Marshal volunteers working the Neptune 8K Race on September 30th. This is our 3rd year volunteering as Race Marshals and this year’s was our largest turn out to date – 25 volunteers (plus a few little helpers)!

NEW PROJECT – Waterman Family Dentistry - We were selected to provide design-build services by Dr. Waterman for her new space in Virginia Beach. It’s been such a pleasure working with her to develop the floor plan and select the interior finishes. Demo started at the beginning of November, and we have begun trenching on this total gut and rebuild. Looking good Core 22 team members Ed, Matt and David.

NEW PROJECT - Checkered Flag CDR+J, Newport News - It’s great to be working with Checkered Flag on the renovation of their CDR+J dealership on Jefferson Avenue in Newport News. We have completed demo and trenching on this major renovation and hav begun framing. Nice job Core22 team members Chris, Leslie and Dean.
