-Operating heavy equipment and trucks (skid steer, excavator, lifts, bucket and box truck)
-Concrete installation and removal (saw, jackhammer, pick, etc.)
-Sign cleaning, retrofits, installation, service & surveys
-Other light/low voltage electrical wiring.
-Working at ground level, at 50' and at times, 500'+.
-Common warehousing activities
-Wide array of construction projects
-Renovation and maintenance at local vacation rental homes

Job Description

Must be hard working (good for 10+ hrs/day) and dependable (current project runs 5 days/week). A full time position is available but also considering applicants looking for short term Summer work. Your experience may warrant higher pay in Full Time employment. Must be ready to go to work!

Traveling laborer job details:
-Our customers include: Banks, Restaurant chains, Government buildings, Retail stores,
Car dealerships and Residential homes.
-Appropriate field work attire and positive professional attitude are required.
-Overtime should be expected and per diem is paid for all out of town work.
-Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions (snow, rain, heat, humid outdoor work).
-Ability to drive and operate a box and/or bucket truck (valid DL & insurable record).
-Day-time work is typical but night-time work is possible (with advance notice).

We are hiring travelling laborers who are ready to hit the road! Trips out of Hampton Roads will see work in 48 states throughout the year and span 2-6 weeks per trip. Applicants seeking $18-$25 in compensation must demonstrate relevant experience, have a valid driver's license, insurable record and be capable of operating an aerial bucket truck. Applicants seeking $12-$18 in compensation are also sought for helper roles.

driving record.
Ability to work both locally and also travel some.
Dependable (on time, honest and able to work 40-60hrs/week).
Multi-skilled or willing to learn (General construction skills, ability to change job scopes day to day).
