Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad Our first response area is the largest in the city, encompassing approximately 100 square miles.

We are a group of approximately 100 volunteers, from all walks of life, who provide emergency medical response, 100% free of charge, to the citizens and visitors of Virginia Beach, VA, every day of the year. Our EMTs and paramedics staff a fleet of four advanced life support ambulances split between Fire/Rescue Stations 5 & 21, responding to over 3,000 emergency calls per year.

Join us in congratulating Allison on his release as an Attendant-in-Charge.

Allison joined EMS because she wanted to learn more about emergency medicine and believes it is really important to give back to the community through volunteering. She chose Rescue 5 because throughout academy everyone she met from courthouse was just immediately so welcoming, it felt like the only right option! In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach no matter the time of the year. We look forward to working with you on the streets and congratulations on this amazing achievement.

Join us in congratulating Chris on his release as an Attendant-in-Charge.

Chris joined EMS because he used to support his Navy command Emergency Medical Team and since retired, wanted to get back into it. He chose Rescue 5 because it is close to where he lives and he liked how we worked together. In his free time, he is an avid motorcycle rider. We look forward to working with you on the streets and congratulations on this amazing achievement.
