💗 A Message From The Heart — Thank You From The Pink Ride 💗

As we reflect on another incredible Pink Ride Golf Tournament, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

To every golfer who spent the day on the course, every sponsor who generously supported our mission, every volunteer who gave their time and energy, every donor who opened their heart, and every supporter who cheered us on from near and far—thank you.

Because of you, The Pink Ride continues to make a real difference in the lives of local individuals and families facing breast cancer. Your generosity provides hope during difficult days, support during uncertain times, and a reminder that no one fights alone.

Events like this don’t happen because of one person or one organization. They happen because an entire community comes together with compassion, kindness, and a shared commitment to helping others. Seeing so many people unite for such an important cause is truly inspiring.

Whether you sponsored a hole, donated an item, volunteered behind the scenes, registered a team, made a contribution, or simply helped spread the word, you played a part in the success of this event. Every dollar raised and every moment donated helps us continue our mission of supporting local breast cancer patients and their families when they need it most.

We are humbled by your support, grateful for your generosity, and honored to stand beside such an amazing community.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in The Pink Ride and the lives we touch together.

đź’— Together, we are making a difference.
đź’— Together, we are creating hope.
đź’— Together, we are changing lives.

With sincere gratitude,

The Pink Ride Board of Directors

Absolutely incredible seeing Celeste Kellogg owning that stage at the Patriotic Festival! From local favorite to arena-level performer, she continues to prove why she’s one of the most powerful voices coming out of Virginia right now. The energy, the vocals, the crowd connection — all next level. 🔥🇺🇸

And if you thought this performance was amazing, just wait until she headlines The Pink Ride at Elevation 27 this September! We are beyond excited to have Celeste leading such an incredible night for an even more incredible cause. 💖🎶

Virginia Beach is lucky to call her one of our own. Don’t miss your chance to see her live at The Pink Ride!

Beginning in 2026, breast cancer testing will be more affordable in Virginia.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) signed two bills into law on Monday, March 24 — House Bill 1828 and Senate Bill 1436 — which both have to do with the cost of breast cancer screenings.

“If you can imagine going into a doctor’s office and having a surprise $500 out of pocket costs — so many families, so many women can’t afford that, and they will walk right out of the office instead of getting that breast examination done,” said Del. Shelly Simonds (D-Newport News). “The bill is really about affordability and making sure that there are no barriers to care out there.”

Under this legislation, health insurance companies will be prohibited from charging patients co-pays, deductibles or any other fees for breast cancer testing like mammograms, breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRIs) or breast ultrasounds.

“If it’s an aunt, a grandmother, a mother — any family history, you can go talk to your doctor and ask them, or tell them about that history and get your mammogram prior to the age of 40,” she said. “They just have to work with your insurance or code it properly and then they can get that done every year.”

These bills will become law starting in 2026.
