Military transitions take place all year long.

Eight Long Months - A Poem From a Military Kid | Military Spouse Eight Long Months is a poem from the heart of a military child about their military dad serving in war.

Thanks to the Military Student Transition Consultant (MSTC), a military-connected student was able to graduate on time in spite of his family relocating to a new duty station during his senior year. The MSTC worked with the family and school personnel to help the student meet the new requirements and graduate on time. MCEC Programs, such as the MSTC, assist students across the world and provide resources to help them succeed.

Please invest in our nation’s military-connected children through a contribution to MCEC, where 85 cents of every dollar goes directly to programs and services.

Team building and training.

We had an amazing time with the Virginia Beach Adventure Park staff getting our 2016 - 2017 student ambassadors acquainted and introducing team building and communication skills.

We are already getting started for the 2016- 2017 school year. Senior leadership is graduating and new officer positions are available. See Mrs. Lanz or Mr. Lawrence for an application and sign up for our leadership training workshop June 1.

April is Military Child Month. Bayside High kickoff and celebration is today!

Happy New Year to all of our military students and their families. We are glad to have you at Bayside High with us!

We are planning a "sweet sur-prize" for our students on Monday. Stay tuned to see what it is!

Stay tuned for more information as we build our page. Bayside High School, VB, VA supports military families and those students that transition from one school to another. I had the fortune of attending the same school, not having to move. Some families move several times and young students / teens have a hard time adjusting, making new friends and feeling connected to their new school. We have a student ambassador program in place to address that need. The S2S student leaders are motivated and dedicated to this cause.
