Honored to be backed by the blue. The Virginia Beach Police Benevolent Association 34 and Virginia Beach Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #8 do so much to keep Virginia Beach safe, and I'm truly thankful to have their support and endorsement for re-election.

Old Dominion University President Brian O. Hemphill conferred upon me an honorary doctorate of humane letters degree at this year's Commencement Ceremonies. It was a humbling moment for me and I am thankful for the honor.

I am pleased to announce that on Dec. 15th Janna and Hunter Knight (my oldest son) got married at Oak Grove Baptist Church where Hunter is a Deacon. Paula and I are so very happy to have this lovely addition to our family. We love you both and wish you the best.

Thank you very much for re-electing me to represent the new 98th District which is now only Virginia Beach and mostly my same neighbors and friends. It is an honor and responsibility that I don't take lightly. Thank you to all that I represent.
