The final stop on our Flint Michigan area coffee tour took us to Abeantogo Goodrich. Another fantastic shop that roasts all their own beans! 💙💛 Met the owner, Kurt, and has a great conversation about how long they’ve been in business and how they ended up in their new location. Great story! Great people! Great coffee!! That’s a definite win for me. If you’re ever in Goodrich Michigan, check them out.

On today’s episode of “Coffee shop hunt” (yes, I totally just made that up), my daughter and I drove over to Lapeer, Michigan to check out a coffee shop that also roasts their own coffee (my favorite kind).

We checked out TheDoghouse.Coffee ! Really loved their iced pour over!! And, to make it even better, we got to meet the owners who actually used to be part owners of Pale Horse Coffee in Chesapeake, VA (The next town over from us in Virginia). And the icing on the cake? He’s a retired Naval Officer! (Thank you for your service)

Anyway, if you’re ever in Lapeer, MI, Check out The Doghouse Coffee! You won’t regret it.

We continued our local coffee shop tour yesterday by visiting Café Rhema with my daughter. My favorite part: they had natural process coffee AND they do iced pour overs (my preferred brewing method)! It was wonderful to find another Third Wave roaster here in the Flint area. Also, you can request prayer by dropping a card or scanning a QR code. As a Christian business ourselves, we so appreciate another business that seeks to show love, support, and hospitality from a Christian worldview. Thank you for your hospitality and being faithful in your calling.
