Happy Imbolc Blessings
Last night I wove the magic of this special night, infusing the sacred cloth with Maiden Goddess Bridie’s energy.
It was a night of celebrating the returning of the light, of hope and new beginnings after we have gone through the darkness of winter.
It was a night filled with love, excitement and sacredness - all this went into the weaving of a very special Druid wrap for beautiful Melanie. Soon more about the prayer wrap.

A custom made prayer shawl for hope and bringing in the light.

When Elizabeth contacted me she told me that she wanted a prayer shawl to overcome the darkness she experienced for five years after the death of her whole family.
She explained that she is better now, she taught dance for 45 years and that her art brings the spark back. She wanted a shawl in her favourite colours: black, green, brown and silver.

I used silver silk in the warp and weft of the weaving as a symbol for bringing in the light together with bright green silver as a symbol for new beginnings and hope.

I felt so incredibly honoured and grateful that she completely trusted my work and I gently infused the shawl with healing, prayers and chants to Brighid, great goddess of healing.

Thank you so much dear Elizabeth for your trust, may your prayer shawl protect you, give you comfort, hope and healing. May she always remind you that you are a beautiful being of light and that you are so much loved.❤️🙏
