This weekend we have had such a great time at the Oceana Air Show!! We were lucky enough to recruit some amazing potential volunteer EMS professionals, raise awareness for VB Rescue, and foster and cultivate relationships with many agencies and military affiliations. Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped us recruit and we are so excited to come back next year! 🎉 Congratulations to Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad volunteer Evan Old, the winner of the second quarter VB Rescue Volunteer Referral Raffle Contest! He successfully referred multiple people to apply to be the newest VB Rescue volunteers.

Evan began his VB Rescue journey in the fall of 2021, and says that being able to take care of the people in his hometown is the most fulfilling part of being a volunteer EMT. Congrats Evan and thank you for your dedicated service! 🚑

Did you know that we have VB Rescue Junior Rescue Squad?? Youth in grades 8-12 can learn EMS skills that will last a lifetime and get a head start on becoming the next VB Rescue volunteers! 🚑

The Junior Rescue Squad meets two Sundays a month from 3-5pm during the school year.
