Barb will test:
- a more sensitive radar capable of measuring ocean surface wind speed

Fledgling is the 4th iteration in our series of technology demonstration satellites that prove out the majority of Care Weather's in-house satellite radar technology on orbit from an incredibly low-cost platform.

Fledgling aims to demonstrate:

✈️ Attitude determination and control software for nadir pointing.
☀️ Deployed solar.
🪄 Shape-memory alloy deployment actuators.
