PRESS ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Control
Post-Press
Help Wherever needed in the shop.
Help stacker get shirts ready to print if needed.
You are a 1st set of eyes to make sure quality of print is looking like approved sample by QC manager throughout run of job.
QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 and possess a valid Driver's license.
Can speak and write English legibly.
Can pass a background check and drug test.
Willing to start right away.
Looking for long term employment
Reliable & Dependable (shows up on time)

Detailed Job Duties

When a job is complete you are to:

Take screens out of machine.
Scrap out excess ink & put back into ink buckets.
Clean squeegees & flood bars.
Put Ink back on shelf if no longer needed for the day.
Take tape o screens and take to wash out area.
Get ready for next job on list!
You are to be watching for:

You are to help keep adequate amount of ink in screens throughout run of job to prevent dry running.

If you see any of these issues you are to bring it to the Lead pressman's attention IMMEDIATELY & STOP machine so these issues can be fixed!

Communicate with stacker of issues coming down the belt so they are notified of what they should be looking for.

You are to have all inks pulled for the day's jobs. If inks need to be mixed you are to communicate with the pre-press administrator to arrange to have inks mixed.

Have Clean squeegees and flood bars ready for upcoming jobs. As press lead is setting up job's you are to follow behind him inserting flood bar, squeegee & inks into screen as he finishes alignment of each screen.

Screenplay Shirts in Vineyard is looking for a full time shipper to work in our receiving bay 8:00-5:00 pm Monday thru Friday

You would oversee receiving apparel product into the system and help prepare/organize for the production crew. The shipping Receiver is an important role, and we are looking for someone that wants to stay and grow with our company.

Qualifications:

Must be able to speak and write English.
Experience Driving a forklift prefered. (or willing to learn)
Looking for long term employment (years, not months)
Clean background check
Clean drug test
Reliable transportation to and from work
Lives close to the Vineyard area.
Positive attitude and dependable
Must be at least 18 years of age.

It’s Like Christmas morning. We are excited for the Challenger Screen-printing press 🙌
