Final day on a Nantucket renovation that pushed every timeline and every detail.
One of the island’s great houses-brought forward with care, restraint, and a lot of problem-solving along the way, just in time for Daffodil Weekend.
Grateful to Cheney Custom Homes and the team of artisans who executed at the highest level to get it across the line.

Meet Kevin Bendel. Kevin is a Project Manager at MaMo whose work is rooted in clarity, precision, and a thoughtful approach to detail.
With experience across architecture and interiors, he brings a steady, design-driven sensibility to projects, balancing creativity with careful ex*****on at every stage.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Marywood University, building a strong foundation in design, digital fabrication, and graphic communication. Before joining MaMo, he worked across various firms and project types, strengthening his ability to adapt while maintaining a consistent design vision from early studies through detailed documentation.
At MaMo, he plays an integral role on project teams and contributes to the firm’s marketing efforts through strong graphic design, translating architectural ideas into clear, compelling visuals.
Outside the office, Kevin brings the same curiosity and focus to his interests. He enjoys gardening, visiting local landscapes like Stoneleigh and Jenkins Arboretum, cycling along the Cynwyd Heritage and Schuylkill River Trails, and working as a maker. Most recently, he established a home woodshop, where he designs and builds custom furniture pieces, including a wardrobe and storage console.

Salk + Kimbell. Two Louis Kahn masterpieces.
Light, form, and silence—handled with incredible precision.
Inspiring and humbling to experience.

A study in balance.
Simple volumes, restrained materials, and a quiet transition at the center—bringing form, light, and landscape together.
From approach to rear terrace, each moment is part of a larger composition.
A current design on the boards.

A small cottage, centered on a stair that organizes both movement and light. The window bench isn’t an afterthought… it’s the pause point, where structure gives way to stillness.
Framed views. Controlled light. Intentional simplicity.
This is where circulation becomes experience.

Renovation is not about erasing what exists. It is about thoughtful adaptation. At MaMo, we design around how families live now, while anticipating how those needs may shift in the years ahead. Timelessness is achieved through clarity, proportion, and flexibility.
This often requires rethinking circulation, strengthening the connection to the site, and creating rooms that can evolve in function without losing architectural integrity.
The result is a home that feels calm, intentional, and enduring — designed to support daily life with quiet confidence.

Jenni Wilga / Interior Architecture
Jenni is a Project Manager and MaMo’s go-to interiors expert, known for instinctively building layered material palettes through thoughtful combinations of color, texture, and pattern. She brings a deep understanding of custom millwork, with an eye for the subtle details that elevate spaces and give them depth and character.
While studying architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Jenni worked in a variety of highly adaptable, cross-disciplinary roles at their experimental performance space, supporting complex performances and exhibitions. That experience sharpened her ability to anticipate needs, manage details, and collaborate across disciplines—skills that translate seamlessly to residential architecture, where coordination, flexibility, and thoughtful problem-solving are essential at every scale.
Over her 11 years at MaMo, Jenni has played a key role in shaping the firm’s identity through storied interiors that extend and enrich the architecture while remaining rooted in each client’s vision. Her thoughtful approach and attention to detail leave a distinct imprint on MaMo’s work.
Outside the office, Jenni breaks out the power tools to work on her house in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. This gives her further understanding of the building processes and trades that bring MaMo’s projects to life.
