As we are in a very stressful time of year, VEMS would like to remind everyone to take care of themselves and remember that mental health is part of overall health! We had a mental health presentation this semester, and we are ready to help should anyone need us! Good luck on finals to those taking them!

10 of our members had so much fun this weekend attending the National Collegiate EMS Conference in Pittsburgh! Thank you to all the wonderful speakers who gave their time. Some talks that members went to included lectures about narrative writing, “gnarly” injuries, human trafficking, veterinary emergencies and more!

Last night we reserved Jake Nevin for our first ever “VEMS Night” (as it was so cleverly named). Basketball, football, Mariokart, card games, and of course, pizza! 🍕

Our members had lots of pancake-filled fun today at VEMS’ annual Secret Santa gift exchange! Wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday!!🎄🎅🏼

Our members had a great time coming together on Sunday to celebrate VEMSgiving! 🍗With so many amazing homemade foods and desserts brought by everyone— there was plenty to go around! It was also a great way to show our 13 new members (see last picture) that VEMS is much more than an EMS organization —we’re family! Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving 🍂🦃🍁
