Coleman PTO...Because an investment in our children is an investment in our future...

Photos from Coleman Elementary PTO's post 05/08/2026

As teacher appreciation week comes to a close we cannot share our gratitude enough for our teachers and staff at Coleman Elementary School.

To try, we will leave this:
"You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference to make."
-Jane Goodall

As parents we see it, when they come home eager to share about their day, even if it always a hard one. Or how they love to share new things they've learned in school.

So thank you. From Coleman PTO, Students & Parents for your dedication to our students.

Tuesday: catered lunch from El Pulque *happy Cinco de Mayo!

Wednesday/Monday: snackle box restock & decorating, chocolate fountain & Pretzel Boys w/cheese

Thursday: Bagels & breakfast, flowers & gift cards

Friday: Coffee from Little Ireland

Don't forget to say YES to S!

From the time I started this campaign I have felt an outcry of support and love from many people in the community. I appreciate each of you.

The journey of serving our community on the Board of Education has been amazingly educating, difficult at times, and rewarding. I’m proud of what we have accomplished over the past few years and I take great pride in working for the kids, staff, and community.

Every district faces a critical moment in its history. For 30 years old buildings have gotten older. The district has tried to keep up with patchwork, but that’s a more expensive option that doesn’t last…costing the taxpayers more money in the long run. Prop S is an opportunity to create long-lasting efficiency for the district. The passage of Prop S will positively impact the district for decades to come, impacting thousands of students and community members.

Hours and hours of research and work have been put into Prop S, but the research is complete and the information has been shared. It’s now time for the patrons of this community to decide the future of the district and community. The results of this election will be felt for decades to come, one way or another.

Finally and unfortunately, for the first time since I began this journey 9 years ago, a candidate has chosen chaos, lies, and negativity toward the district. Although disappointing, it’s worth remembering that the betterment of the district requires us all to work together after April 7th. We all run for different reasons, but we should all have a common goal of moving the district forward with positivity.

Good luck to all the candidates and organizations looking to make a lasting impact on their communities tomorrow. Thank you again to all of my supporters. I would appreciate any and all support at the polls tomorrow for me and Prop S. The district and I need you now more than ever.
