Our fighters ended up with 732O sit-to-stands to celebrate Word Parkinson’s awareness day !!! Who is ready? Rock Steady Boxing NOVA!!!!
Stiffness in Parkinson’s doesn’t just happen in the limbs but the core was well🏋🏻♂️ So todays emphasis in class was core rotation and specifically integrating it into boxing combos 🥊

Out classes are LOUD!🗣 A soft voice is a common symptom of PD that many don’t know about and this is one of my favorite drills for it 🥊 No music for this video so you can hear their loud voices!

Stopped posture is a common symptom in Parkinson’s, so that was our main focus in class! Keeping your head up, activating the posterior muscles, and stretching up were the class goals.
