Today and every day, we recognize the women of Lessard Design—and women throughout our industry—who continue to lead, inspire and shape what’s next.

One of our Interior Design Studio's latest projects is this Multifamily Active Adult community in New York, currently in design and scheduled to deliver next year. The interiors were conceived to feel inviting, fresh, and grounded, with a warm, sophisticated material palette and amenity spaces designed around how residents truly want to live.

From the clubroom, card room and bar to wellness, fitness and leasing spaces, every environment is being thoughtfully layered with natural textures, warm woods, stone, tailored details and distinctive lighting. The result is a hospitality-inspired residential experience that feels elevated without feeling formal—and comfortable enough to truly feel like home.

For us, interior design is about more than selecting finishes. It’s about creating an experience, telling a story, and designing spaces that build community.

We can’t wait to see this one come to life in 2027—and we’re just getting started.

JW Marriott Reston Station will host Bisnow’s Fairfax State of the Market on September 22—and we’re proud to have designed the venue bringing the region’s real estate community together.

Located in the heart of Reston Station, Virginia’s first JW Marriott features more than 40,000 square feet of meeting space within one of Northern Virginia’s fastest-growing mixed-use destinations.

Lessard Design Multifamily Principals Leticia Flores and Navid Tehrani, AIA, will be in attendance, connecting with industry leaders and discussing the opportunities shaping the future of Fairfax County and Northern Virginia.

☕Connecting Over Coffee with NVBIA!

Yesterday morning, Sungjae Lee represented Lessard Design at the NVBIA Future Leaders Coffee Meetup in Ashburn.

It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow professionals in the building industry, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships within our local industry community. Sungjae enjoyed meeting attendees from across the industry—including several who were already familiar with Lessard Design.

Thanks to NVBIA and the Future Leaders Committee for bringing everyone together for a morning of coffee and conversation! The meetup was created as an opportunity for Future Leaders to connect while discussing industry trends, upcoming projects, and other topics shaping the field.

Lessard Design is proud to celebrate the completion of The Abendroth, a mixed-use mid-rise community in the heart of Port Chester’s Waterfront District, just steps from the Mill Street crossing to Greenwich, Connecticut.
Designed to connect past, place and possibility, The Abendroth draws inspiration from the area’s rich industrial history—including the former Abendroth Brothers’ Foundry—while introducing a contemporary residential experience within one of Westchester County’s most vibrant downtowns.
For Lessard Design, The Abendroth represents what thoughtful urban multifamily design can accomplish: respecting the history of a place while creating something distinctly new for its future.
We’re excited to see this community completed and becoming part of the continued evolution of downtown Port Chester.
