If you got engaged in the past two weeks or so, here’s what I’d tell you.

Enjoy it. Stare at your ring. Go out for drinks and sit at the bar to toast your engagement.

You’re allowed to enjoy being engaged before turning to the logistics. Take a breath before making big decisions. You don’t need to book everything at once to be “on track.”

The strongest wedding plans begin with intention, and the space to enjoy this season.

Selecting your wedding music can be challenging, especially when it comes to choosing the perfect first dance song! 

Start by opting for a song that holds significance for both of you as a couple. Is it a song that was always on the speakers at the college bar where you met? Is it the song that came on when you got engaged? Don’t worry about what the song “should” be - pick something that is meaningful to you! The first dance is such a special moment and this song will be forever yours.
