A new school year brought a newly completed Charlottesville Middle School!

Take a look inside the $91.8 million phased modernization, which brought the City's 6th- through 8th-grade students together in one building with new and renovated learning spaces, improved accessibility, and significant building system upgrades.

MBP served as the owner's representative throughout the design and construction phases, providing constructability reviews and on-site construction management.

Another win for the Hanover County Route 360 Widening Project!

The project was recognized with a 2026 VDOT Local Assistance Project Management Excellence Award this week at the VDOT Local Programs Workshop.

MBP provided construction management services for the project, which included expanding Route 360, improving pedestrian access, upgrading stormwater infrastructure, relocating utilities, and reconstructing the Mechanicsville High School bus loop.

Congratulations to Hanover County and our project partners, Kimley-Horn, Allan Myers Inc., and the Virginia Department of Transportation, on this well-deserved recognition!

MBP is expanding its work in North Carolina.

We're pleased to announce that MBP has been awarded a 2026 Statewide On-Call Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Limited Services Contract as a prime consultant with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT).

Through this contract, our team will support transportation construction projects across the state, building on our experience in transportation and infrastructure and strengthening our relationship with NCDOT.

Last week, the project received a 2026 Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA) Engineering Award in the Greater than $20 million Design-Bid-Build category.

MBP provided construction management services for the project, which widened Route 360 and included pedestrian improvements, stormwater upgrades, utility relocations, and reconstruction of the Mechanicsville High School bus loop.
