Just had the first rehearsal with the quartet for Beethoven 9 here and let me tell you…I humbly think we’re gonna tear the roof down! I truly can’t wait to collaborate with and to bring this incredible work to the Filene Center this Friday, July 12th! Opus 3 Artists

I head to in just a few weeks and am so excited! Buuuuuuut before I start a deluge of posts from WT, I’d like to share some very exciting news for next season!!! I am truly overwhelmed and ecstatic for these gigs that take me to 5 cities, with 3 company debuts and very happy company returns for 2. It’s a mix of opera and concert work debuts (several of which I have been absolutely FERAL to put on stage) and a repeat of my charmingly silly Mozart girlie, Fiordiligi. If you’re in Virginia, DC, Chicago, Madison, or Erie, come out and see a performance! I’ll be the one on stage having a panic attack from sheer joy….

The dust hasn’t even settled on La Bohème or saying goodbye to , but I had to tell y’all that I will be one of the 12 finalists competing tomorrow in the Jensen Foundation Competition! I am so excited to share the stage with all of these incredible singers and quite a few very good friends. I need to make a proper tribute to my time at Minnesota…but for now…competition time!

Finally having a chance to reflect on last week! Your girl learned a ✨crazy✨Rossini score in 36 hours as a last-minute cover of the title character, 🎶Ermione🎵 at . It was such an amazing week, but then I had to move on to an audition trip and THEN onto a Messiah, so I am one slightly delayed, but incredibly GRATEFUL girl!!!

A big thank you to and everybody at WCO, , , , , , , .sanz, and truly all who helped make me feel comfortable and inspired, while also singing their absolute faces off. It was wild to share the stage with these artists, if even for a moment, and such a joy to cover an artist that I have admired and respected for a long time like Angela! They all sounded like an absolute dream and I soaked up every moment. Also, I would be a dummy if I didn’t thank my team . Love these guys and feel so lucky to have people who get what I do and support me all the way.

It’s this wonderful man’s birthday today. November 17 is one of my top favorite days and it’s because of you! You are my best friend, my husband, my sometimes business partner, and my all-time always partner : ) You make me laugh, you challenge me to be better, and are my rock in truly every storm. I can’t imagine this world without you, and feel truly so honored that you’re mine. Happy birthday my love! PC: (wedding!)

Can’t believe it’s been almost a week since I was on stage with this incredible cast in this beautiful production! Rodelinda was definitely a challenge, pushing me out of my comfort zone, both as a singer and actor. But I loved every single minute of it, and couldn’t have asked for a more supportive cast , , , , , crew, director , orchestra , and management team !
