Last month I went to Upstate New York to record some music with at . Jon has been working with some of my favorite artists in the Americana/Indie world right now. We knocked out 5 songs and I learned some great things from the sessions.

1. Make good records and release often
2. A good song deserves to live outside of one genre

Outside of recording we enjoyed some great meals and I found another Man Utd supporter to complain/celebrate with!

Last month I played an all-original show for the first time since high school. I shared the stage with and and we damn near sold it out. I had some time to chat with Molly and she asked me how I got into writing… I had not been asked that before and it hit me. I’ve always tried writing songs. I just had to write a LOT of really bad ones before I landed on good ones that I was confident enough to play out. Here’s to playing the good ones out more in the future 🥂🤞🏻
