Climate Change Has Surpassed Safe Limits
Glaciers are melting faster than predicted. Heatwaves are pushing communities beyond survival thresholds. Floods, droughts, and water stress are displacing millionsโespecially across the Global South.
At the Healthy Climate Initiative (HCI), we work where the risks are greatest. This year, we:
โ๏ธ Conducted field trials in the Indian Himalayas to explore ways to slow glacier melt
๐ Trained and empowered climate leaders across India
๐ฑ Supported community-led ecosystem restoration that strengthens livelihoods while removing COโ
But the crisis is acceleratingโand the window to protect people is narrowing.
As the year ends, Iโm asking for your help. Healthy Climate Initiative is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and U.S. donations are tax-deductible.
Your support will help HCI:
โข Advance safe, science-based solutions to slow glacier loss
โข Equip leaders to protect vulnerable communities from extreme heat
โข Build public understanding and acceptance for responsible climate interventions
๐
December 31 is approaching.
If youโre able, please consider supporting this work before year-end.
