I want to thank everyone for a successful 2025 Christmas Parade!!! Thank you to our DVA team for all of their hard work, all the volunteers, all of the participants and especially the community that braved the weather to watch!! Also a shout out to our Grand Marshal Mr. Wilson Johnson who has done so much for our community for so many years!!! Lastly, I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. This season can be so hectic and busy!! Be intentional with your time, slow down where you can and spend some extra time with those closest to you. As we approach Christmas Day, remember what we are truly celebrating; the greatest gift mankind has ever received in the birth of our Lord and Savior!!

We have a group of Mennonites that want to come serve our community. Our charge is to compile a list of 100 homes that need repair from Hurricane Helene. THIS IS NOT DEBRIS REMOVAL but instead home repair. If you, or anyone you know, is in need of this help, please go to www.toombsstrong.com and sign up for this assistance. We have until August 22nd to build this list. We have a good start but please share the word, share this post and help us bring continued support to our community!
