Some good news from Feral AF Ranch… this little bean is our confirmed 2027 foal ❤️‍🔥

Funfetti is only 17 days along, so we have a few more important milestones ahead of us, but it feels good to celebrate the little wins along the way!

This will be our first cross on RN Highbrow Lena, & the first foal we’ve ever gotten to plan from the very beginning! Which has been such a cool experience thus far. Keeping our fingers crossed & taking this journey one step at a time 🫶🏻

The estimated due date is May 4th, 2027… & I’m sensing some Star Wars themed barn names for this one 👀😂

The first foal to carry the Feral name, and one we’re incredibly excited to watch grow.

His paperwork came in today, & let’s just say I’m so glad I didn’t wait until now to announce his name! 🫣

We took some quick little conformation photos of Flash yesterday since he turned 6 weeks old! These were the best we could get because as soon as he gets to the arena he just wants to run 😂⚡️

It’s hilarious watching him. The way he looks for any excuse to run across the arena as fast as he can or he run along the fence line, do a roll back to run all the way back to mom… then do it all over & over again 🤸🏼‍♀️

Last week, I measured his height again because I figured it looked like he was going through another growth spurt & I was right! At his wither he made it to 10 hands high & at the b***y he is 10.2 hands high!

Definitely not lacking on personality around here 🤪⚡️

What happened to our little boy & why is he growing up so fast?!?!

Funfetti & Flash got back from the breeding farm over the weekend… he apparently was a farm favorite there, which isn’t surprising if you’ve ever met him 😂🫶🏻 but also kinda affirming of what we see in him… you know?

It’s safe to say he was ecstatic to go to the arena yesterday! He put on quite the show & then had tons of silly moments as per usual 🤪

But look at how grown up he already looks 🥹 he went up one hole size larger in his halter while he was gone that week!! He looking like a tiny tank 🫣

Now… fingers crossed for our upcoming preg check 👀

It’s not about how big your first step is, it’s just a matter of taking it.

The young guns got worked today, in the wind so of course they were both spicy 😂 I (Jennifer) made a post a couple of days ago on my personal page about some health stuff I’ve been focusing on, BUT I think it’s time to get focused back on the ponies! It’s been a few months I think since I’ve rode, so starting small with lunging today & I plan to ride within the next few days 🫶🏻

Funfetti & Flash are at the breeding farm! Today was the first day of his life we didn’t get to see him & home feels pretty sad without his face around here, especially on his month old birthday today 😭😭 hopefully the time flies by quick & they’ll be home before we know it!!
