The last day of school is finally here! What an incredible year of learning, growing, laughing, and making memories together at Victoria Elementary. 💙💛

As we head into summer, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to our amazing students, families, teachers, and staff who make our school community so special.

And if you spotted Principal Jill VeLure and administrative Dean, Todd Mulder dressed up in inflatables today… 🤣🎈 don’t worry, you weren’t seeing things! They were celebrating Victoria Elementary students and families helping Penny Wars reach its fundraising goal back in January. A promise made is a promise kept!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped support our school. Your generosity continues to make a difference for our students.

Today we celebrate an incredible group of students as they take the next step in their journey. From kindergarten classrooms to graduation day, you’ve grown into leaders, role models, and amazing Lakers.

We are so proud of your hard work, friendships, accomplishments, and the memories you’ve created along the way. As you head off to middle school, remember to be kind, be curious, and always believe in yourself.

We are looking for an Apparel Coordinator. The Apparel Coordinator is a fun and creative role perfect for someone with an eye for
design and school spirit.

Additional Board Expectations

**While each position has its own specific focus, all board members share a
commitment to collaboration, communication, and active participation throughout the
school year.
Attend regular meetings, held approximately every six weeks from 5:30–6:30 PM
CST in the VES Media Room (with virtual attendance available as needed).
Meeting facilitation and hosting responsibilities will rotate among board members
to ensure shared ownership and engagement.
Board members will monitor their designated PTO email folder and respond in a
timely manner to questions and communications related to their role.
Participate in and support at least two PTO event committees during the school
year. Time commitment ranges from 5 - 10 hours per committee.
Together, these shared responsibilities ensure strong coordination, consistent
communication, and successful ex*****on of the events and initiatives that make
Victoria Elementary PTO so impactful.

Good with budgeting and accounting?! We are looking for a treasurer. The PTO Treasurer plays a vital role in helping keep the Victoria Elementary PTO
501(c)(3) running smoothly and responsibly. This position oversees the PTO checking account at Hometown Bank, process payments, sign approved checks, and assist with financial administration related to PTO contracts and vendor agreements, manages all incoming and outgoing funds according to the approved budget, provides invoices for sponsors and donations and maintains accurate financial records throughout the year.
