Process customer policy change requests.
Secure all necessary documents from customers.
Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
Document each customer contact in system.
Immediately greet all customers entering the office in a friendly and helpful manner.
Take premium payments from customers.
Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
Return all phone messages promptly.
Be outstanding at relationship building.
Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
Uphold the wants and needs of your customers.
Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.
Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy.
Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:
Service existing personal lines clients with insurance companies, working with team members and clients to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction as well as account profitability.
Input policy information for new and existing clients while ensuring the highest level of accuracy and timeliness.
Foster and cultivate relationships with other team members.
Attend and actively participate in meetings as required (staff meetings, sales meetings, etc.); schedule meetings with clients as appropriate.
Actively support and serve as a role model for company mission and core values.
Meet continuing education requirements to maintain all applicable licenses as appropriate
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
2-3 years’ experience as a Customer Service Representative in a multiple carrier insurance environment preferred; a minimum of one year experience in customer service within the insurance industry is required.
Property & Casualty License is required.
Outstanding written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills; must be an effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply to practical situations.
Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
