See the FREE ebook in the previous post. There you can find what you are looking for much easier. Soon I will be creating another ebook called Vol. 2 it will be all about Macros or VBA. Enjoy the free book. It’s up to you, but I wouldn’t go to all of the Excel classes posted on Facebook, mainly because they are not free. Your choice though. Have a blessed day.

Coming soon:
VBA or Macros Made Easy
It will be a new E-Book with a new fee if you choose to purchase it.
Please allow 24 hours from time of purchase to receive the E-Book. This is not my regular job. It is only to help people learn Excel at a great price. I do have a regular job Monday through Friday. Thank you for your understanding.
Try this:
In column A starting in cell A1, or whatever column you want to start in create a set of numbers, in for example, use 10 Rows. Use 1-10. Later you can increase the numbers to meet your needs.
In cell B1 or next to your first numbered cell write this:
=REPT(“I”,A1)
Next click on the little dot in the lower right hand corner of cell B1 and drag down to the last numbered cell that’s on the left, or double click it to add formula to all cells below in column B.
Now in cell B10 if the number to the left is a 10 you will get 10 entries of whatever you have put in the parentheses, for this example I put a capital I. It should look like below:
I
II
III
IIII
IIIII
IIIIII
IIIIIII
IIIIIIII
IIIIIIIII
IIIIIIIIII
Basically you create a simple to edit bar graph. The word REPT is for repetition making your letter, number or word repeat as many times as the number in the reference cell.
Have fun with this by formatting any way you want. 😉

FILTER Function
You are going to love this one. It is a FILTER function and, in this example, it is going to create an Inventory in one Cell Array and in the Next Cell Array it will be In Stock and the third it will be Out Of Stock. See the image for the In Stock Block and for the Out Of Stock the only thing that changes in that formula is the > greater than sing to the = equal sign.
Created a small set of items like in the Inventory block complete with the quantity. You can use any product or quantity and you can edit the products and quantities later to meet your needs and changes in your actual inventory in the other 2 blocks will update automatically.
For the In Stock (you can see the formula in the FORMULA BAR) notice that I have put the formula in cell E5. We start out with =FILTER( then what cell array or range your information is in which is B5:C9 next don’t forget the comma after C9. Then only the range where the quantity is, which is C5:C9. Next we add the greater than symbol > then 0 (zero). Now all that is left to do is close the formula with the Closed Parentheses ) and click Enter. Now the information in all the cells that are greater than zero will be there and the ones that have no quantity will be left out.
Your Formula in cell E5 should look like this:
=FILTER(B5:C9,C5:C9>0)
3; For the Out of Stock like in the In Stock section I start out with =FILTER( then the same cell array or range your information is in which is B5:C9 again don’t forget the comma after C9. Like the previous image, only the range where the quantity is, which is C5:C9. Next, we add the Equal sign = instead of the greater than sign, then 0 (zero). Now all that is left to do is close the formula with the Closed Parentheses ) and click Enter. Now the information in all the cells that are equal to zero will be there and the ones that have a quantity will be left out.
Your Formula in cell H5 should look like this:
=FILTER(B5:C9,C5:C9=0)
Now when you make any changes to your Inventory block the other two will automatically reflect the new changes.

Coming soon to the book: Macros or VBA. Hope you get your version of the book soon.
I’m sorry to say, but this page is diminishing a little at a time. I’m adding all of the lessons in this page to my online book. There is more content in the book than was on this page. As I add lessons to the book I’m removing them from this page.
The book is easier to navigate through and you can copy and paste from it too. You also can carry it with you as you can access with your mobile device.
It is written in Google Docs. And if you share your gmail address with me via messenger . You can get a copy for the low price of $25.00 per year.
As I keep adding to it, it will update your version automatically. As long as you keep paying the $25.00 per year you keep the book.
If you cease to pay you will unfortunately lose access to the book and the updates.
Sorry, but I’m just trying to make ends meet, and $25.00 per year is extremely low price.
Thank you

The book is now well informed. If you would like a copy of this book you can get it via Google Docs for a low price of $25.00 per year. Message me if you are interested. The book will automatically expand when new chapters are created. Also to get to the chapter or lesson you want, all you have to do is touch it in the table of contents and it will take you straight to it. The best part is with this version you can copy and paste formulas then modify it to meet your needs. I have a regular job so I will read your when I get the chance. Thank you.
