Hello everyone, I am reaching out to the public asking for assistance in trying to identify the owner or persons responsible for leaving and abandoning a Fifth Wheel Travel Trailer on Pickering Road West off FM 1686. This was done earlier this week. From the poor condition of the trailer, feel reasonably sure trailer had been previously parked/stored in the Bloomington, Placedo, Crescent Valley or Dacosta area. Inside of trailer has basically been cleaned out. If anyone has any information as to who abandoned the trailer on Pickering Rd or possibly where it came from, please send me a message. Attached are several exterior pictures. Thank you in advance with any helpful information.
Today after church, Kim and I went to Ramsey's to eat. After our great meal and preparing to leave and check out, we learned that some unknown customer had paid for our meal. Kim and I wish we knew who did this but, the waitress would not say. To the person who paid for our meal, we say THANK YOU and may God bless you with grace and love. 🙏💙

Hey Placedo residents, please take advantage of this great opportunity to get rid of some things and increase the appearance around Placedo. I want to personally give out a big thank you to Commissioner Danny Garcia and Vic-Cal Grain Company for making this possible
Hey folks needing your help. If you know of someone in the Bloomington or Placedo area who had need to discard of a refrigerator and window AC unit yesterday (8-24-22) between the time period of 4pm and 5pm on Key Rd, please send me a message. Vehicle was a black colored 4 door pickup. Thank you for any help you can give. Us working together can make a difference!!
Hello everyone, hope all doing well. I wanted to take a minute and share with all that Victoria County is now under a BURN BAN.
Victoria County has enacted a burn ban due to the US National Weather Service Corpus Christi Texas forecast of CRITICAL fire weather conditions.
Key takeaways from today’s weather briefing include:
•Critical fire danger for our county beginning today through the next several days
•High winds
•Low humidity
•Dry lightning (aka no rainfall)
•Possible downed power lines
•No outdoor burning
•Rapid fires possible
For more information, continue to follow us on social media or contact the Victoria County Fire Marshal’s Office at 361-579-9103.
Hello everyone and hope you all had a safe, wonderful and bless filled Christmas with family and friends. I too had a bless filled Christmas with family and wasn't out much. Serving the people of Precinct 1 as your Constable means alot to me but, I wanted to inform you all that I will not be out this week either for a medical reason that just came up. I didn't want people to think I didn't care by not being visible around the Precinct. If all goes well, I will be out and about again next week. I wish you all a safe and Happy New Year!!
