👏 Congratulations to Our Healthy South Texas Recognized Schools and Organizations!

This morning in Commissioners’ Court, we congratulated Aloe Elementary, Patti Welder Middle School, STEM Academy, Victoria East High School, Bloomington Elementary, Placedo Elementary, Northside Baptist, and YMCA Early Childhood Learning Center for being recognized by the A&M AgriLife Extension Service Healthy South Texas Program for the 2025–2026 school year.

These schools and organizations are helping promote student wellness and create healthier learning environments for children and families throughout our community.

Please join us in congratulating them on this well-deserved recognition and thanking them for their continued commitment to the health and well-being of our community’s youth! 👏

Our Big Kahuna Fundraiser is well underway! As students complete sales, they can bring their signed tickets to earn their prizes. Paper sales are due September 29th and online sales must be completed by October 6th.

Club Day Kickoff!! 3rd-5th Grade started their monthly club meetings today. Art, Science, Fitness, Math, Cheer, Board Games, Crafting & Gardening! 🐊📚🧮🔬🏃‍♀️🎨🐊

Don't forget to rack up those quick and easy points- drop off food collected weekly, post about the challenge on your social media, and submit your Tuesday Tally each week.

Remember monetary donations earn the MOST points (15 points per dollar) because every $1 doantion helps us provide 8 meals!

Aloe is working to stay in 1st place for the Elementary Division of the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent Hunger Hero Challenge! Tomorrow students are challenged to bring $1 to earn a classroom popsicle party!
