How many times have you said, “I need to start over”?

Ever feel like your fitness suddenly disappeared when summer arrives?

It probably didn’t.

Heat and humidity force your body to work harder just to regulate temperature. Your heart rate climbs faster, you sweat more, and workouts that normally feel manageable can suddenly feel much tougher.

That doesn’t mean you’re losing fitness.

It means your body is adapting.

If your workouts feel harder right now:
• Drink more water than you think you need
• Consider adding electrolytes
• Train during cooler parts of the day when possible
• Focus on effort instead of chasing the same numbers

Consistency through the summer pays off when temperatures start to cool down again.

Sweating more doesn’t mean you burned more fat 💧

Sweat is just your body cooling itself down, not a direct sign of fat loss.

You can sweat a ton and burn very few calories…
and you can burn a lot of calories without sweating much.

Now intense workouts can make you sweat more and burn more calories…
but the sweat isn’t what’s causing the fat loss.

Fat loss comes from a calorie deficit over time.
