Wee Blew Inn

We have 90lbs of 16-32 ounce cod filets for sale. Cod filets avg $8 a lbs. We are looking to sell all 90lbs for $500. They are currently frozen.

Today (Wednesday, 7/30) and tomorrow (Thursday, 7/31) 9 am until ?? please come by and help us clear out the restaurant. We still have lots of items for sale! Brown coffee mugs, pots, pans, utensils, wooden salad bowls, etc.

The past two weeks have meant so much to us. So many of you stopped by to share one last meal before we closed our doors, and we will never forget the years of love and support from this incredible community.

With that said, we want to let you know that we’re now working quickly to clean out the building. Beginning tomorrow—Tuesday, July 29 at 9:00 AM—we’ll be selling a variety of equipment and supplies to the public. First come, first served.

Items include: plates, coffee mugs, utensils, equipment, bar stools, crock pots, steam tables, toasters, pots and pans, and much more.

With heavy hearts, we announce the closing of our doors.

Our final day serving the Venice community will be Saturday, July 26, 2025, with doors closing at 1:00 PM.

The Wee Blew Inn has been a beloved landmark in Venice for over 45 years, and it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye. We want to express our deepest gratitude to all our loyal customers and dedicated employees who have supported us throughout our long journey. Many of you have treated this place like a second home—coming in for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner back in the day. We’re going to miss it just as much as you.

The Wee Blew Inn has always been more than just a restaurant. It’s been a place where friends met, stories were shared, hardworking locals took their lunch breaks, and memories were made.

We’d love for you to stop by and share in our final days. Enjoy your favorite “usual” meal, sip a cup of coffee from one of our brown mugs, listen to the familiar banter of the staff during the rush, admire the collage of fishing photos and humor on our walls, grab a T-shirt, and maybe share a memory or two with us.

We have to unexpectedly close today, Friday, 3/28/25 due to staff shortage. We should be open tomorrow for normal operations.

Due to weather and staff shortage, we will be closing as of now (Monday, 3/10/2025) and do not plan to reopen until Friday, 3/14/2025 at 6:30 am until 2 pm.

Friday evenings will remain closed until further notice.

We are so sorry for the unpredictability with our hours but we are managing a lot of varying issues. We appreciate your kindness and understanding with us during this difficult time.

We will be closing at 2pm on Friday, 3/7/2025. No Fish Fry this week. Come see us for breakfast or lunch, though!
