It is with a heavy heart, my father-in law Bob Johnson passed away Friday 1/24/25. He will truly be missed but leaves us with heartfelt memories we will cherish forever. He will never be forgotten.

To our incredible community and supporters, thank you for standing by us through this difficult time. This is the current state of Jetty Jacks and the South Jetty after Hurricane Milton. It’s truly unbelievable the power of water: all of the remaining equipment just washed away, doors and windows blown out, walls torn apart, and five + feet of sand and rocks washed away. We apologize for not updating sooner, as our home was also damaged and flooded, and we’ve been busy dealing with the weight of it all. Special thanks to Rick and Chris from the City of Venice for taking us out to the jetty to view the devastation. The jetty remains closed to the public for safety.
We’re still uncertain about what comes next but will keep you updated. To help get us through snowbird season, we’ll be selling Jetty Jacks merch soon—stay tuned here for updates. Our hearts go out to everyone in our community who has been affected, and we are wishing for the safety and recovery of all our neighbors. Your support means the world to us.
Love, The Johnson Family

Here we go again. There is a possible threat of another storm heading our way. If it becomes a hurricane it will be named “Helene”. To prepare the City of Venice will be closing Humphris Park including the South Jetty and Jetty Jack’s Wednesday morning and will reopen after the storm has passed and any damage has been repaired.
Pictured are a few new items we are adding to our menu. A Chef Salad, Tuna Melt and Avocado Toast. Yum yum.
Thanks and we will see you on the other side of the storm.
