A remembrance ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 will be held at Patriots Park at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, with speakers and music. There will be limited seating available; bringing chairs is encouraged. Cold water will be handed out.
Patriots Park is located on U.S. 41, just north of the intersection of U.S. 41 Bypass North and U.S. 41 Business, and features a 2-ton steel beam from the World Trade Center wreckage on 9/11 and a piece of rubble from the attack on the Pentagon.
